A full day through the heart of Naxos. Begin in Damalas at a working pottery workshop preserving ancient techniques, then on to Chalki for handcrafted ceramics and local kitron. Continue to Kaloxylos for an olive-oil tasting at a family press, pause in Filoti beneath the great plane tree of its village square, and wander the marble alleys of Aperathos. Enjoy a relaxed lunch of local specialties with stunning mountain views, then finish at the unfinished Archaic Kouros — a 2,500-year-old marble statue lying in its ancient quarry.
